Then clear your mind and shuffle the cards.If you feel the need for focus then focus on wisdom.
When you feel that you are finished stop and place the cards down in front of you.

Have a journal for recording all of your work in magick handy, in front of you with a pen.
Keep your mind clear and lift the card on the top to the info side of the card.Bring it up in front of your eyes andopen your eyes.

Inhale to the count of four while stareing at the information on the card
Slowly exhale and close your eyes placeing the card down again.

This is where your vision begins and your meditation gets deep.
(Modern Magick suggests that you use only certain cards to start.)

All of the sensations that you experiance in the next five to twenty minutes should be recorded.

Often you will go into a trance/ dream state and it is important that you do not fall asleep.

All that is said and acted out in your thoughts should be recorded and contemplated.
Whatever comes to you. Write it down.

Maybe it is your sub-conscious speaking to you.

Maybe it is an angel, devil, spirit, whatever, you need to record the details for future reflection.
I do not agree with the "teacher" reading your dreams.

I believe that visions are for the benefit of the individual and are not for display.

This is done well within a circle. Even if you just sketch one with your finger.
I, of course, cannot tell you what you will see in your meditation.

But I will suggest that you attempt to stay within the subject matter of the card.
The card that you are working with at the moment.

Each card has a message, each message must be heard.
You will find that the message will change and "fortify" itself as time goes on.

Things become quite self evident.
By the time you have worked on this to any satisfaction. You will have written volumes upon the one card.
This is how the tarot is learned fully.
Through the communication of the cards to you, personally.
This practice should be done with all of your decks as well.
